Mumbai, May 19 (ANI): Navy chief, Admiral Robin K Dhowan, on Monday assured that safety measures were in place and standing operating procedures were being followed in wake of recent maritime accidents. Dhowan, addressing the officers and sailors of the Western Naval Command in Mumbai said that various measures have been put in place to avert any major accident. Dhowan said naval officers were responsible to protect the assets and maritime interests.
