NTR mania was at its peak in the morning shows. The theatres witnessed unprecedented crowd inside as well as outside. Many cinema halls registered 100% occupancy and some theatres displayed houseful boards even before the show started. This, however, was a big disappointment to some film goers, who did not get tickets. A few movie buffs even tried to buy tickets paying Rs 1000 in black.

Sukumar-directed "Nannaku Prematho" received positive talk from viewers and the word of mouth drew more audience towards theatres in the matinee show. The movie has registered an average of 85% occupancy in theatres across the globe and several cinema halls ran to packed houses.

As per early trends, "Nannaku Prematho" is expected to fetch Rs 15 crore in AP/T and over Rs 5 crore to its distributors on its opening day. The film is likely to collect Rs 30 crore gross at the worldwide box office on the first day, and will surely be the biggest opener for Junior NTR. It is also likely to beat the record of "Srimanthudu" and become the biggest Non-Baahubali Tollywood opener.

BVSN Prasad has produced "Nannaku Prematho" under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The producer is all thrilled about the massive opening of the movie and took to the official Twitter handle of the production house to thank Junior NTR fans.
