Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni will join the league of other sport stars like Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova to have his own line of perfumes.

Rhiti Sports Management, which manages Dhoni's business portfolio, announced on Friday a partnership with Dubai-based Beauty Contact to manufacture and launch the men's fragrance range worldwide.

"The development of the new line builds on my own preferences for fragrances that remain fresh and have an international appeal," Dhoni said in a statement.

"I am confident that the range will appeal to those who seek fragrances that are long-lasting and refreshing," he added.

The perfume is aimed at men and Dhoni will be involved in its creation, formulation and development of the fragrances. The fragrance will head for a global launch before the end of the year, according to the statement.

"We are pleased to be associated with Beauty Contact Inc which is the global licensee of Cadillac, Madonna Nudes 1979 and Whatever It Takes fragrances. We are looking forward to the launch of the very first line of M S Dhoni's fragrances globally and will be working closely with Beauty Contact to make it a successful venture," Arun Pandey, Chairman and Managing Director of Rhiti Sports Management, said.
