Panaji, Aug 31 (ANI): Mridula Sinha on Sunday took oath as governor of Goa and pledged to abide by her duties and to work for the welfare of the people of Goa and that state itself. Bombay High Court Chief Justice Mohit Shah administered the oath of office to Sinha. Her appointment came following he resignation of BV Wanchoo. Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and other dignitaries were also present at Raj Bhawan for the event. Following the oath taking ceremony, Sinha also received the guard of honour.
