After Rohit Khandelwal made us proud last year, Jitesh Singh Deo is now the next candidate for Mr World. Jitesh bagged the Mr India World 2017 title on Thursday (December 14).
The Lucknow hunk will now represent India at the Mr World competition. The finale of the gala, sponsored by Peter England, was held at Bandra Fort in Mumbai. It was judged by Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, designer Manish Malhotra and tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, among others.
The Queen actress announced Jitesh as the winner. According to the pageant's official website, the winner is an actor, he loves travelling, swimming, and outdoor sports, and he believes in the mantra – "Be the change you want to see in the world".
Abhi Khajuria from Chandigarh was the first runner-up and Mumbai's Pavan Rao, an actor, dancer and model, was named the second runner-up.
Now, India is eagerly waiting for Jitesh to compete for Mr World 2017 title. In 2017, India got lucky in both Mr and Miss World pageants. Rohit bagged Mr World title, while Manushi Chhillar became the Miss World 2017.
