Karachi, May 02 (ANI): Pakistani political party Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) called for a day of mourning and protest on Friday after bodies of four party workers were recovered from Memon Goth in Karachi. MQM said that all four workers were picked up on April 13 by Police and Rangers from Gulshan-e-Maymar area on the outskirts of the city. The party announced that it would stage peaceful protests against what it calls "extra judicial killings and kidnappings" of its activists. MQM leaders have alleged that personnel of the law-enforcement agencies in plain clothes pick up their workers and subject them to torture, and in some cases, they kill their workers and dump their bodies on the outskirts of the city.
