"Ladies vs Ricky Bahl" is a film about today's women who never sits back and weeps but seek vengeance or at least get even with their offender.

Story

Ricky Bahl (Ranbeer Singh) has the personality to pick any girl, but what he wants from the girls is money. He adopts various personae to deceive his girlfriends and take their money.

He presents himself as Sunny, a fitness trainer, before Dimple (Parineeti Chopra) while he pretends to be an art dealer named Deven in front of Raina (Dipannita Sharma). He is a good and shy friend for Saira Rashid (Aditi Sharma).

And in his hunt for money, Bhal is about to confront another woman named Ishika Desai (Anushka Sharma).

A chance encounter brings these three women together, who vow to track down Ricky Bahl and get their money back. And the game starts.

Performances:

Ranveer Singh and Anuska Sharma's screen chemistry is awesome and it reminds one of their first film, "Band Baaja Baaraat," (2010).

Ranbir is the scene-stealer in the film and his dialogues delivery is quite enjoyable.

Anushka has come a long way from "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" (2008) and looks energetic in the film.

Debutant Parineeti Chopra proves her potential as a capable actor. Her screen presence captivates the mind of the audience. She turns out to be the saving grace in many scenes.

Dipannita Sharma carries off her role with ease while Aditi Sharma is inactive and looks dull as demanded by her role.

The film dips a little bit after the first hour. The ploy made by the women to trap the con seems unrealistic.  It could have improved had Devika Bhagat taken some more effort to while writing the screenplay.

Tracks like "Aadat Se Majboor", "Jazba" and "Thug Le" are the pick of the day.

Verdict: Ricky will charm you, girls beware!
