Motorola Mobility is reportedly planning to release the recently-unveiled flagship smartphone, Moto X Pure Edition (aka Style in global markets), in the US early next month.
The Lenovo subsidiary confirmed the news on Twitter.
"On Sep 3, you'll see what real love is like. Choose #MotoX for a more powerful connection," read the Motorola Mobility tweet (courtesy, Android Central).
The tweet was tagged with the Moto X Pure Edition (Gold-White combo model), confirming the release date of the flagship device.
Strangely, for inexplicable reasons, the company deleted the tweet. But before that, many fans and tech blogs had taken screen shots of the tweet.
Even during the unveiling of the Moto X Style series phone last month on 28 July, the company had said the device will be made available in select regions in Europe, Latin America and North America in September.
The Moto X Pure Edition sports a 5.7-inch QHD LCD display and runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with 3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB storage and a 3000 mAh battery.
It also boasts of Motorola's custom mobile computing system integrated with 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 (Hexa-core) CPU (MSM8992), natural language processor and contextual computing processor.
