Motorola launched Moto G Turbo in Mexico last month, now the power-packed mid-range phone has set foot in India.

The new Moto G Turbo is an advanced version of the original Moto G (3rd edition). The key difference between the two is that the former variant houses a 64-bit class Snapdragon 615 series Octa-core SoC (System on Chip), whereas the latter features 64-bit class Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor.

Another notable inclusion in the new Moto G variant is the Turbo Power technology, which is said to enable quick charging of the device. A few minutes of charging will be more than enough for the phone to run for many hours.

The rest of the specifications of the devices remain the same. They house 2GB RAM, 13MP camera on the rear-side, 5MP front-camera, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, 2470 mAh battery and boast IP67 water-and-dust proof certification.

[Note: Devices with IP67 certification have the ability to survive 5 feet under-water for up to 30 minutes.]

Motorola Moto G Turbo India price and availability details:

The company has confirmed that the new Moto G Turbo will cost Rs. 14,499 and go on sale on Thursday 12:00 pm via Flipkart (HERE) in black and white colour variants.

Whereas the original Moto G (3rd Gen) -- 16GB and 8GB -- are priced Rs.12,999 and Rs.11,999.
