Release date and price details of the long-rumoured Motorola Droid Turbo has been leaked online, ahead of the official unveiling this week.
Technology community blog Motorola Firmware (via Twitter) has posted a series of pictures of the retail package containing the alleged Droid Turbo, revealing price and specification details of the device.
In the leaked photos, the Droid Turbo package is shown to come with pre-loaded 4G-LTE Verizon Wireless' SIM card, Droid Turbo USB charger, quick reference booklet and a product safety guidelines pamphlet.
The Motorola phone's design is strikingly similar to the shadowy device shown in the dedicated Verizon Wireless page (HERE). The company has placed the count-down clock below the black smartphone with Droid embellishment for the official unveiling of the new phone, understood to be the Droid Turbo on 28 October, 2:30am EDT (11:30pm PDT, 27 October; 12pm IST, 28 October).
According to Motorola Firmware, Droid Turbo will hit stores in USA on Thursday this week (30 October).
If the sources of Droid-Life are to be believed the Droid Turbo will be priced - $199 ( around€157/₹12,200) with a 2-year contract and costs $599 ( around €472/₹36,725) for the unlocked model.
Motorola Droid Turbo reportedly sports a 5.2-inch QHD (2,560x1,440p) display, 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB RAM, 21MP camera, 2MP snapper on the front and a high-capacity 3,900mAh battery.
