Lenovo-owned Moto (formerly known as Motorola) officially launched an entry-level handset dubbed as the Moto E3 Power in India on Monday.

The key attribute of the Moto E3 Power is its battery capacity. The new budget phone houses a massive 3,500mAh cell, 700mAh more than the original model. The new Moto E3 variant also boasts 10W quick charger as well, which is sourly missed in all phones under the budget category.

Other upgrades include dual-SIM slots, 16GB inbuilt storage and 2GB RAM. Rest of the features such as display, processor OS, camera hardware remains same.

Moto E3 Power sports a 5.0-inch HD IPS screen and come with Android Marshmallow OS, MediaTek quad-core CPU, 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP front snapper with beautification mode.

Moto E3 Power release and price details:

The new Moto E3 Power will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart at 23:59 on Monday for Rs. 7,999. It will come with Reliance Jio trial offers.

With this, Moto E3 Power owners will be able to enjoy unlimited HD Voice (VoLTE), Video calling, unlimited SMS, unlimited high speed data and Jio Apps for a period of 90 days. However, charges will be applied for international calls and roaming.

In addition to those services, Moto E3 Power users will also be able to avail premium Jio applications – My Jio, Jio on Demand, Jio Beats – with unlimited options of latest movies, TV shows and songs across multiple languages.

Flipkart is offering 32GB Sandisk MicroSD card and Moto Pulse headset worth Rs. 599 and Rs. 499, respectively, free of cost with Moto E3 Power.

It has also introduced special exchange offer with up to Rs. 7,000 off for those who trade-in their old phone for new Moto E3 Power. In addition to that, Flipkart will give additional Rs. 1,000 discount on regular exchange value (only for today).

Buyers can opt for EMI (Easy Monthly Installment) for Rs. 1,334 per month (six months) with no additional charges of interest. SBI credit/debit card users can also avail additional Rs. 800 discount on the purchase, as well.

All the aforementioned offers are valid only till 23:59, Sept. 20.

Competition:

Moto E3 Power is pitted against the popular Redmi 3S series, Micromax Unite 4 series, Lenovo K5 Plus and Huawei Honor 5C, among others.
