After weeks of speculations, Moto, formerly known as Motorola, officially announced the release details of the much awaited budget smartphone Moto E3 Power in India.
Moto (via Twitter) confirmed that the new Moto E3 Power will be released in India at: 23:59 p.m. on Sept. 19 exclusively on Flipkart. However, the price details of the device are still under wraps. It is expected to be revealed on the day of the launch.
As the name suggests, Moto E3 Power's USP is its battery capacity. It houses a massive 3,500mAh cell, 700mAh more than the original model. The new Moto E3 variant also boasts 10W quick charger, which is sourly missed in all phones in the budget category.
Other upgrades include dual-SIM slots, 16GB inbuilt storage and 2GB RAM. The rest of the features such as display, processor OS and camera hardware remain the same.
Moto E3 Power sports a 5.0-inch HD IPS screen and comes with Android Marshmallow OS, MediaTek quad-core CPU, 8MP primary camera with LED flash and 5MP front snapper.
In Hong Kong, it is being sold for for HKD 1,098 (roughly $142/€125/Rs. 9,488), but we expect the price to be much less considering the fact that top-end Moto G4 Play costs Rs. 8,999.
