Chaubepur, Aug 15 (ANI): About 450 students fell ill of which nearly 100 were hospitalized on Friday after consuming sweets distributed at government schools in Kanpur’s Chaubepur area. The students are being treated at the local hospital and the matter is being examined closely. DM of Kanpur, Roshan Jacob said that all efforts are being made to avoid casualties. She added that the sweet shop from where the sweets were ordered has been sealed and samples are being taken for examination.
