Tata has been testing its Nexon compact SUV in India for a quite some time now and the model has already made numerous appearances on the web through spy shots, leaked images and also Auto shows. As Tata continues to test its Nexon to perfect the upcoming SUV, a fresh batch of images of the Nexon has hit the web again, this time from Pune.
Snapped by RushLane, the latest images show the Nexon from all its angles, giving a glimpse of the overall body proportion of the upcoming model. Like before, the prototype of the Nexon is still hiding under considerable amount of camouflage, thus not revealing anything much except what we already know.
Tata is expected to launch the new Nexon in India in 2017, as the company has a slew of models lined up for this year. Tata had showcased the Nexon at the Auto Expo 2016. Under the hood, the Nexon is expected to include a 1.2-litre turbo-charged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Previous reports had said that the Nexon compact SUV is likely to get six-speed AMT box.
Expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 6.5 to 10 lakh, the Nexon will rival Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport. The Nexon is expected to pack features such as keyless entry, push start/top button, reverse-parking camera and a 6.5-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
