Hours after the first batch of Maruti Suzuki S-Cross images surfaced on the cyberspace, a new set of the Maruti's first crossover-SUV images has hit the web, this time revealing the key interior specifications and details of the car.

The latest set of images was snapped by Indian Autos Blog reader Vivek Dogra in Himachal Pradesh. SX4 S-Cross, Maruti's upcoming offering in the fast growing cross over segment is the latest talk of the town. The car first seen at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, is expected to reach Indian market in early 2015. In the international market, S-Cross is offered with Suzuki's 'Allgrip' all-wheel-drive system.

In the images, it is seen that the interiors of the car including center console and AC vents comes in black colour with silver accents and the design of the dashboard shares a lot of similarities with Maruti's best selling Swift and Dzire models.

The S-Cross is expected to offer features like LED daytime-running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, scuff plates and black cladding. Under the hood, Maruti's first cross over is likely to pack 1.6-litre diesel engine sourced from Fiat, which can churn out a power of 118bhp and a peak torque of 32kgm and is expected to come coupled to six-speed manual gearbox.

Rumours are rife that the car will fall in the price range of ₹13-14 lakh and when launched the S-Cross will take on the like of Nissan Terrano and Renault Duster.

In 2014, Maruti is expected to launch its new sedan dubbed Ciaz, the replacement of its underperforming SX4 in the domestic market and a new version of Alto K10 hatchback.

Ciaz, a car which was first seen at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014, is based on the Suzuki Authentics concept car and is likely to come with 1.3 liter Multijet diesel or 1.4 liter K Series petrol engine of Ertiga. The car will be pitted against Hyundai Verna, Honda City and Volkswagen Vento in the sub-continent and is expected to carry price tag of ₹7.2 lakh to ₹10.5 lakh.

The new Alto K10 hatchback is likely to pack 998cc 3 pot engine of the Celerio, which can produce 68 PS of max power and 90 Nm of torque. Previous reports had suggested that the vehicle would feature larger and more stylish swept-back headlamps, new engine grille with chrome outline, reworked front bumper and the new rounded bonnet.
