We've lost count of the amount of times Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru FC have already faced-off this year, from the I-League 2017 to the AFC Cup 2017 and the Federation Cup. The Indian football giants now collide possibly in their penultimate match for many months now in their second leg fixture of the AFC Cup on Wednesday May 17.

The attention shifts to the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in Kolkata on Wednesday. Just a few days later, on Sunday May 21, the two sides clash again in the Fed Cup 2017 football final in Odisha.

Mohun Bagan have already been eliminated from the South Asia Zone Group E of the competition owing to their shockingly poor show so far. Nothing has quite worked for Sanjoy Sen's army in the continental competition, and they have only faces to save in their remaining two fixtures of the tournament.

Their first leg match in Bangalore ended 2-1 in favour of the home side.

Only one team -- either Bengaluru FC or Maziya -- will make it to the next round.

Bagan: Anas Edathodika has a knock, which makes him doutbful for the match. Also, with the big match coming on Sunday, expect Sen to rest the likes of Sony Norde and Darryl Duffy, with Kean Lewis and Prabir Das making it to the starting lineup.

BFC: Sunil Chhetri is out with a hamstring injury, while the likes of Harmanjot Khabra and John Johnson are suspended. Juanan and Cameron Watson have not made the travelling squad, while forward Cornell Glen is ineligible to play AFC Cup games.

With all the four foreigners unavailable, it needs to be seen how coach Albert Roca zeroes in on his starting 11 ahead of the match.
