While a section of the Indian population is struggling to come to terms with the fact that adult star Sunny Leone is now a mainstream Bollywood actress, A-listers from the industry are showing great interest in working with her. According to reports, Hrithik Roshan's next will have this leading lady performing to an item number.
"We are currently in talks with Sunny Leone for the same, however nothing has been finalized as yet," Bollywood Hungama quoted Rakesh Roshan as saying. If true, this could make for an interesting addition to the star line-up for the film. Also, will she get to share screenspace with Hrithik?
Titled "Kaabil", the film is to be helmed by Sanjay Gupta and the suave star, in all probabilities, will be romancing Yami Gautam. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Parineeti Chopra and Anushka Sharma are some of the other names briefly associated with its casting speculations.
Hrithik found the script so interesting that he took it up first, in the process postponing Yash Raj Films' "Thug". "Kaabil" was to go on floors in February, but it could get delayed courtesy the ligament tear he recently suffered.
To be shot across various locations in the country, Hrithik has given this film 3 months from his packed calendar, after which he will begin with "Thug". "The film will be shot in Mumbai and a few other places that are yet to be finalised. After finishing this film, Hrithik will start shooting for Vijay Krishna Acharya's next project," a source told Deccan Chronicle last year.
In other news, he will next be seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro" alongside newcomer Pooja Hegde with whom he has an intense lovemaking scene. Slated for a 12 August release, the period drama is made on a lavish budget and Hrithik has apparently charged a whopping Rs 50 crore for it.
