Director VK Prakash's upcoming movie Careful has been making headlines ever since the makers released the trailer of the thriller online. As part of movie's promotion, superstar Mohanlal and filmmaker Priyadarshan have shared their thoughts on the film, which is said to be delivering a social message to the audience on road safety.

"I watched the movie Careful. Most often we hear that a director should convey a social message, but majority of the films fail to do justice due to the lack of entertainment factor. Now, that is the best part of Careful, it has got a very powerful message and at the same time it is a wonderful entertainer [translated from Malayalam]," Priyadarshan is heard saying in a video shared by the team of Careful movie.
The hitmaker has also pointed out that Careful deals on the road accidents that occur every one minute in India. "The mistakes that we do unintentionly often affect the life of many others, and that's being narrated in this movie. It is a must see film. We never realise each one of us are also criminals. According to a survey on road accidents, one accident takes place in India every minute, while at least one person dies in every five minutes. Some drive rashly and few others would be upset while driving. Actually speaking, they are all murderers though most of them are not aware of it. This movie will make each one of us aware of it. I think every Indian should see it and you should also tell your friends to watch it," Priyadarshan concludes.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal has also asked all his fans to watch Careful, which gives a socially relevant message to everyone to be careful while they drive so that they do not become the reason for someone else's loss.
Careful stars Sandhya Raju, Saiju Kurup, Vijay Babu, Parvathy Nambiar, Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Jose Prakash, Sreejith Ravi and Vineeth Kumar in pivotal roles, and also marks the comeback of actress Jomol to the big screen after a long gap of 14 years. Co-produced by Suresh Balaje and George Pius under the banner of Wide Angle Creations, the upcoming movie has been scheduled to hit the screens in May 26.
