The cast and crew of "Modern Family" is all set to entertain the TV world with a Halloween special episode this Wednesday, wherein the viewers can take a trip to the "AwesomeLand".

"Even though Halloween is Claire's holiday, she allows Phil to take over this year so instead of her usual fright-fest theme, he decides to turn the house into AwesomeLand!" reads the official synopsis of "Modern Family" season 6, episode 6 titled "Halloween 3: AwesomeLand".

But Claire (Julie Bowen) decides to make the Halloween theme spookier and she takes over the charge of decorating the house. Claire turns the front yard of the house to an insane asylum and changes Phil's (Ty Burrell) "Awesomeland" theme, stated People Magazine.

As per the promotional images released by ABC, Claire, Alex (Ariel Winter), Haley (Sarah Hyland) and Luke (Nolan Gould) will appear onscreen in bloody psyche ward costumes.

While Claire is seen wearing a scary nurse costume, Alex and Haley dress up as patients. In the meantime, Luke choses a straitjacket for the Halloween special episode of "Modern Family".

However, things might not turn out according to the plans of Claire since her kids do not seem to be amused with the idea of insane asylum.

"Modern Family" fans will get to watch Haley making some sexy alteration in her costume, Luke falling asleep on the job, and Alex urging for more rights in the next episode of American sitcom.

Meanwhile, "Gloria picks out Princess Fiona and Shrek costumes for her and Jay but Jay decides he wants to be Prince Charming complete with a full head of gorgeous hair, and with the hair comes a new sense of confidence, according to the synopsis of "Halloween 3: AwesomeLand".

"Elsewhere, Cameron gets overwhelmed by the day's activities and Mitchell has closing arguments for a huge case, and it doesn't help that the stenographer is dressed like a spider," reported ABC.

Though the TV world will have to wait until 29 October to find out whether insane asylum will win the local decorating competition, the new neighbours of the Dunphy family could come up with some serious complaints about the new look of the house.
