Mixed reactions come as Rahul Gandhi alleges UP riots to be 'engineered'

New Delhi, Aug 09 (ANI): Mixed reactions come in as Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi alleged that UP riots were ‘engineered'. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that Gandhi is right and blamed the SP government in UP for the communal tensions. BJP said that Gandhi should think about the welfare of his own party and that the party should now give away its arrogance. JD (U) leader Ali Anwar supported Gandhi's remark in the wake of ongoing violence in the state. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP Mohammed Adeeb said that such politics for the vote bank should be stopped which results in loss of innocent lives.
