Miss India 2016: Shahid, Varun and others to perform; complete list of top 21 contestants

The grand finale of the Miss India 2016 will take place in Mumbai April 24.

The winner of the 53rd edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant will be revealed April 24 in a glittering ceremony. The grand finale of Miss India 2016 will be held at Yash Raj Studious in Mumbai.

Filmmaker Karan Johar will host the finale night along with Manish Paul, who is known for his comic timing. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Shahid Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Tiger Shroff, rapper Badshah and Varun Dhawan will also perform at the grand finale, The Times of India reports.

Like last year, this year also 21 contestants from across India have made it to the finale of the beauty contest. However, only one of the contestants will be crowned as the winner. Out of the 21 contestants, top five participants will enter the final question and answer round. The winner of the Miss India 2016 title will be judged by designer Manish Malhotra, Miss World 2015 winner Mireia Lalaguna, actress Amy Jackson and Sania Mirza among others.

Last year's winner Aditi Arya will crown the winner of the Miss India 2016. Miss India 2016 winner will get a chance to represent India at the global Miss World 2016 platform; the first runner-up will participate at Miss International 2016 while the second runner-up will take part at the Miss Grand International beauty pageants.
