The top 10 semi-finalists of the 51st edition of the Miss India beauty pageant have been announced during the grand finale night in Mumbai.
The contestants, who made it in the top 10 list (in random order) Simran Khandelwal, Amarjot Kaur, Nikhila Nandgopal, Ashwati Ramesh, Lopamudra Raut, Gail Nicole Da Silva, Koyal Rana, Jantee Hazarika, Jhataleka Malhotra and Irshikaa Mehrotra.
The top 10 contestants went through the question and answer round and will compete for the Miss India crown.
The 2014 Femina Miss India beauty pageant is being held at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. The finale is hosted by Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh.
The panel of judges are actors Abhay Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vidyut Jamwal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Malaika Arora Khan, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, Miss World 2013 Megan Young and World Champion Boxer Vijender Singh.
The grand finale night started with singer Mika Singh's performance. He performed on "Agal Bagal" and "Party Toh Banti Hai" song.
Honey Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor performed at the finale. Sinha gave a tribute to former beauty queen Zeenat Aman as she performed on her hit songs.
"Thank you for this wonderful performance. Thank you Femina Miss India. For all the young ladies ...believe in yourself and do what you have to do. All the best," the beauty queen and yesteryear actress said, according to Indiatimes.com.
