Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher's recently released movie Mirzya has apparently been leaked online. The full movie was uploaded on YouTube to be watched for free.
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Mirzya has become the latest victim of piracy. It was released on October 7, but the full movie was leaked online just two days after its release. Although most of the leaked films are generally uploaded on other torrent sites for free download, Mirzya has been made available on YouTube.
Several people noticed this and took to Twitter to share the information. People have been tagging the makers of the film on the micro-blogging site, asking them to take action against the illegal availability of Mirzya online. The leaked online copy is apparently of good print as well.
The makers of the movie apparently took action and the YouTube link now appears to be blocked. However, chances are high that there are several other links to the film on the internet. Mirzya had a slow start at the box office and this leak is likely to affect its collection even more. The film could collect just Rs 6.50 crore nett at the Indian box office in its first three days. Mirzya is Harshvardhan and Saiyami's debut movie.
Earlier, several other Bollywood films had been leaked online even before their theatrical release. Piracy has become a much bigger issue in the industry as almost all the films are getting leaked on the internet, causing huge losses to the producers.
