Hyderabad, Nov 30 (ANI): Former track and field sporting legend, Milkha Singh on Sunday (November 30) flagged off the 12th Hyderabad 10K marathon in Hyderabad with national and international athletes participating in the event. The marathon is organised every year by Hyderabad 10K Foundation, one of a major sporting events in India where thousands gather to celebrate unity and uphold their view of a happy, healthy living in the city. Singh was the brand ambassador of the event. The foundation was founded in 2003 with an objective of bringing the city together irrespective of the socio-economic status of the people and promotes health, fitness and sports among the people. More than 1500 people participated in the run. The marathon had four categories- International, National, Amateur and last for Senior Citizens as well.
