Singer Mika Singh has irked the makers of "Comedy Nights Live" after he promoted his new song "Billo" on rival Kapil Sharma's new show "The Kapil Sharma Show." This didn't go down well with the makers of "Comedy Nights Live," who asked Mika to move out of the show.

Mika, who replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu in "Comedy Nights Live," promoted his new song on rival channel Sony Entertainment Television with playback singer Kanika Kapoor and cricketer Chris Gayle.

Mika shot for an episode with Kanika, Gayle and the team of "The Kapil Sharma Show," after which Colors channel sent a notice to Kapil's production house and Sony asking them not to air the episode featuring Mika. And not only shooting the show, Mika even praised Kapil and called his show the best.

"You all know that I am Kapil's brother. I am a big fan of his show and his timing as well. I have met him after a long time because three-four songs of mine have been launched. And the best way to promote the songs is the best show — 'The Kapil Sharma Show'," Mika told IANS.

Mika's recent move shocked the makers of "Comedy Nights Live," following which they asked the singer to quit the show. "After the entire drama, Mika has been asked to leave the show. The singer will soon have a final meeting to decide on his exit from the series," a source told Tellychakkar.

Kapil and Colors' rivalry is known to all in the industry. It was one of the most talked about topics in the industry at one point in time. The issue toned down after Kapil started his new show on Sony TV. However, Mika's appearance on Kapil's show has again added fuel to the fire.
