Microsoft is offering an attractive deal on its Lumia 435 smartphone through a newly-launched Smart Exchange offer. Those who have any Asha handset can take advantage of this impressive offer, as Microsoft is exclusively giving steep discounts to upgrade to the affordable Lumia 435.

The offer is valid for a limited period, so those who are interested must act fast.

With the latest Smart Exchange offer, Microsoft is trying to boost sales of its newly-launched Lumia 435. The handset offers great value for an incredibly low price. In India, demand for budget phones is on the rise and Microsoft is sure to attract many customers.

As per the Smart Exchange offer guidelines, Asha phones eligible for the trade-in include Asha 305, Asha 306, Asha 308, Asha 309, Asha 310, Asha 311, Asha 500, Asha 501, Asha 502 and Asha 503.

The Asha 500 series will fetch you a guaranteed discount of Rs. 1,500 on purchase of Lumia 435 while phones in the Asha 300 series will be valued at Rs. 1,000. The discounts will be applied on the selling price of Lumia 435, currently retailing for Rs. 5,999.

In addition to the exchange bonus, buyers will also be treated with Rs. 1,250 worth cash back of recharges through Paytm app. The mobile payments service will be limited to Rs. 250 per transaction during the offer period, according to WinBeta.

The exchange will be available only at authorised dealerships and there's no information about its online availability.

Lumia 435 is a much-advanced smartphone than any of the Asha handsets. It is powered by Windows Phone 8.1, which will later be upgraded to Windows 10 when available. The handset sports a 4-inch WVGA display, a 2MP rear shooter and a VGA camera in the front. Lumia 435 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage with microSD card expansion up to 128GB and has a 1,560mAh battery. Users can use two numbers on the phone with its Dual-SIM support.

Microsoft will end the limited period exchange offer on 15 April or even early, if stocks run out.
