American software company Microsoft on Thursday took the wraps off the cheapest Windows powered smartphone Lumia 430 Dual.

Microsoft 430 Dual sports 4.0-inch WVGA LCD screen and runs on the Windows Phone 8.1 OS (with Lumia Denim update) out-of-the box. The company claims the new phone is also in the line of getting upcoming Windows 10 OS update, which is slated for a release this summer.

Under the hood, Lumia 430 Dual packs Snapdragon 200 series dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, 2mp camera, VGA snapper on the front and a 1500 mAh battery, which can power the phone for close to 19 days in standby mode.

Prospective Lumia 430 Dual consumers stand to get free Office apps, which include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. These apps with the help of OneDrive cloud storage make project work documents available at any Windows operable devices, making it seamlessly accessible anywhere.

"With a price tag of 70 USD, the Lumia 430 Dual SIM becomes the most affordable Lumia to-date, bringing smartphone experiences, the latest apps and signature Microsoft services to many more people, sometimes for the very first time," said the company in a statement on the official Lumia Conversation blog.
