If latest reports are anything to go by then there are possibilities that Microsoft would not replenish the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagships that are currently out of stock at Redmond's eStore in the UK. As of now, the only option available at the eStore is 'email me when available.'

This development gets exciting considering the fact that rumour mills are currently working overtime on the fact that current Lumia flagships; and the entire Lumia range eventually; would be phased-out to make way for the Surface Phone from Microsoft. Now, new rumours are pointing at the fact that the 'out of stock' status, that the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL are facing in the UK eStore, would not change back to 'available.'

As per these rumours, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are said to be inadequate as far as supply is concerned. Also, it is worth noting that both Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL were offered at rock-bottom prices during the recent Black Friday and Cyber Monday online sales in the UK.

At this juncture, both Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL can still be procured through official brick-and-mortar retail stores across the UK. Nonetheless, the general pulse of both Microsoft loyalists as well as the general category of smartphone users is that Lumia 950XL would be the last flagship before the Surface Phone is launched.

As far as the Surface Phone itself is concerned, there are reports that this device would feature Lumia functionality such as double tap to wake along with being mid-range. Microsoft is yet to come out with official updates concerning its purported Surface Phone smartphone.
