It may be mentioned that the same website had earlier reported that the Lumia 940 might sport a 5.2-inch display and Lumia 940 XL a 5.7-inch screen. It went on to claim that both the models might come with 24-25 MP main camera and 5 MP or even higher MP FFC, 3D-interaction, Iris scanner and native Pen support.

Meanwhile, a report by WinFuture (via GSMArena) has claimed that the Lumia 940 would come with a design similar to the Lumia 830 with an aluminium frame and polycarbonate back. It went on to claim that the device will house a 3,000mAh battery, sport a 5.2-inch QHD screen with 1,440 x 2,560px, and could be powered by Snapdragon 808 processor, while the Lumia 940 XL version may sport a 5.7-inch screen, powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, and house a 3,300mAh battery. Both the models are expected to come packed with 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM.
