Micromax's official e-commerce partner Amazon India is all set to kick-start the fourth edition of the YU Yureka flash sale in India on 5 February.

The YU Yureka flash sale is slated go live on Thursday at 2:00pm. However there is no word on how many units will be up for grabs.

If Amazon India's statement issued last week is to be believed, the latest offer is likely to be bigger than the previous ones. 

On 30 January, Micromax's subsidiary YU Televentures, makers of Yureka smartphone, had announced that it would increase inventory capacity in February. So, Micromax buyers can expect at least 30,000 units in the upcoming sale.

Even if the company does offer 30,000 units, it may not be enough to accomodate lakhs of buyers who have registered for the flash sale.

Recap of last three week gives it all. Flash sales got over in 3 seconds (13 January), 4 seconds (22 January) and 3 seconds (29 January) respectively.

Also, Amazon India will have to focus on getting rid of technical glitches, which have recurred in all the previous three flash sales, like over-pricing of YU Yureka and mode-of-payment decline bug.

However, there is one initiative by Amazon India that would be appreciated by buyers: they have to register only once and even if they cannot get their hands on the phone on the sale day, they retain the option to join the waiting list and try their luck in the next week's sale. This is in contrast to Xiaomi-Flipkart flash sale, where buyers have to apply for registration for every flash sale.

Xiaomi also deserves appreciation for trying hard to increase its inventory capacity ever since it began operations in India.
