Before Micromax could officially launch the new Canvas Nitro smartphone, a consumer electronics shop has revealed the device's price and specifications details.
Mumbai based smartphone vendor Mahesh Telecom (via Facebook) has revealed that the Micromax Canvas Nitro 4G will be available for sale in its store in a couple of days time.
To corroborate the claims, shop's proprietor Manish Khatri has posted the retail package of the Canvas Nitro 4G, detailing that the device will cost as low as ₹10,999. It features 5.0-inch HD IPS display and runs on the Android 5.x.x Lollipop OS backed by 2GB RAM, 13mp main camera, 5mp front snapper and 2500 mAh battery.
However, there is one anomaly in the listing. It says that Micromax Canvas Nitro 4G comes incorporated with 64-bit class Snapdragon 400 Octa-core processor, which is not possible as the 400 series is based on 32-bit architecture and it features four cores not eight as mentioned in the entry.
This apparently questions the authenticity of the retail package and hence we believe this mistake to be typo. As per the Qualcomm's budget friendly Snapdragon chipsets series released so far, only 415 series has Octa-core, so the new Canvas Nitro might feature the latter. This is just us speculating and nothing is set in stone, so we advise readers to wait for a few more days to get the official confirmation from Micromax.
Stay tuned for more updates.
