Micromax Canvas 4 A210 Now Available at Online Stores for ₹17,999

A few days after the unveiling of Micromax's next-generation Canvas 4 in Delhi, the metal-clad smartphone is now listed on major e-retailers in India.

E-commerce website Infibeam has put the Canvas 4 A210 up for sale with a price-tag of ₹17,999, while another website Snapdeal is taking pre-orders for the phone. Other online retailers Flipkart and Saholic have listed the device on their respective web pages, but sales are yet to begin.

Micromax Canvas 4 sports a 5.0-inch IPS LCD HD (1280x720p) display with Corning Gorilla Glass screen shield and it comes with an Aluminum frame to give a metallic feel on the lateral side. The smartphone runs on Android v4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Other specifications include a 1.2GHz Mediatek Cortex A7 quad-core processor (Chipset type: MT6589) paired with PowerVR SGX544 graphics engine, a 2000 mAh battery, 13.0-megapixel camera with 5-element lenses capable of taking vertical panoramic pictures and a 5.0-megapixel camera on the front.

The main USP of the new generation Micromax phone is that it flaunts intelligent video playback feature - Smart pause, wherein the smartphone automatically pauses a video if the user turns his face away, and resumes right away when he/she turns back to the screen. The display comes with touch-free feature - 'Blow to Unlock', wherein the user can unlock the screen by just blowing air on it.
