Hideo Kojima's upcoming stealth video gaming title, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is most likely to have a surprise feature as Kojima himself is known to surprise fans with new features. The PC version of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes has hinted on the inclusion of zombies in the upcoming game.

A Reddit user has mined through the source code from the PC version of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, that was released on 18 March 2014 and has found the word "Zombie" inside the code, raising speculations about a zombie influx in Metal Gear Solid 5, reported Gamepur.

The user found the code that reads, "property name=isZombie" in the PC version of Ground Zeroes.

Is developer Kojima Productions taking a leaf out of the popular zombie feature that has now infected many gaming titles, especially the Call of Duty franchises that has been coming out with special zombie DLCs for its gaming titles. The recent one being Havoc DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be a continuation of the story and the events that took place in Ground Zeroes. It will be set in the year 1984 and will follow the adventure of Venom Snake (also Big Boss) to Africa and Afghanistan, set during the Soviet War.

Phantom Pain is one of the most awaited game that is scheduled to roll out in 2015 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The exact release date for the game has not been released.
