Konami's upcoming open-world action thriller Metal Gear Solid is all but released. And as we follow up to the eventual push out of the game later this year, it seems like the game is already up for pre-order in Japan on the Japanese PlayStation Store.

While the PlayStation 4 version of the game will require 25.1GB of the user's bandwidth, the PlayStation 3 version of MGS5: The Phantom Pain will comparatively require around 11.7GB.

But that's not all. Creator Hideo Kojima has shared a brand new poster of the game that showcases quite a bloody version of Snake and Quiet with the description "Stained in blood, the aftermath of revenge."

As far as the new poster is concerned, according to Kojima-san, it will be displayed in Japanese stores this August, and that it will be the final one before the game's official release. In fact, the poster is also a sort of homage to last year's cover that we saw for Ground Zeroes.

Currently though, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on 1 September.
