'Memu Saitam' (Saitham): Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Mohan Babu, Ravi Teja and Other Telugu Actors on Red Carpet [PHOTOS]

"Memu Saitam – We Love Vizag", an initiative to raise funds for rebuilding Vishakhapatnam, which was destroyed by Hudhud cyclone, took place on Sunday, 30 November.

The Telugu film industry has always taken steps to provide relief operations during natural calamities, in the form of donations and personal assistance.

Many celebrities, including Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Ravi Teja, Brahmanandam, Allu Arjun, Allari Naresh, Meka Srikanth, Nagarjuna, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Mohan Babu, Nani, Prabhas, Gopichand, Sachin Joshi, Sundeep Kishan, Tanish and Ram Pothineni among others attended the "Memu Saitam" event to offer support to the victims of Hudhud cyclone.

The 12-hour live telethon saw the performances of Telugu stars, three-hour long cricketainment, mega draw and an exclusive red carpet charity dinner.

"A massive rebuilding operation is currently underway and every endeavour, however, small or big from every concerned human being, will help further this cause and overcome the grief of this colossal tragedy. It is the bounded duty of all fellow Telugus and fellow Indians to take part in this exercise," according to Memu Saitam official website.
