Meizu seems all set to release its mid-budget flagship smartphone in India soon. It has already exported 16GB devices to India for testing.

Spotted at the import-export database website Zauba, the Chinese smartphone maker has sent multiple devices from China to its Bangalore office. Though the pricing of Meizu MX4 smartphone has been mentioned in the valuation tab as ₹40,556, international online sellers are offering it for around $292, which translates to around ₹18,717.

But noticing competitors such as ZenFone 2 ZE551ML 32GB, OnePlus One Silk White 16GB edition and Xiaomi Mi 4 16GB, Meizu might release the smartphone for much less.

The OnePlus One 16GB edition is now available for ₹18,998 while the Xiaomi Mi 4 sells for ₹17,999. The ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE551ML comes for ₹19,999, but unlike other mentioned models, the ASUS ZenFone 2 comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage.

The Meizu MX4 boasts of a 5.36-inch display with resolution count of 1080x1920 pixels at 418ppi pixel density. The Meizu MX4 comes powered by a octa-core MediaTek MT6595 processor, aptly backed with 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in memory.

The device further equips with a whopping 20.7MP Sony sensor camera with a two-tone LED flash on the rear and 2MP camera at the front. It runs on customized Flyme OS 4 on top of the Android 4.4.2 operating system.

The Meizu MX4 is powered by a 3,100 mAh battery and features an impressive design with a thin bezel and more screen-to-body ratio, but skips the essential Micro SD card slot.
