Megastar Chiranjeevi celebrates his 61st birthday on Aug. 22 and Akkineni Nagarjuna, Allu Arjun and a host of other Telugu celebs shared their photos with him and showered wishes upon him.

Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad, better known by his stage name Chiranjeevi, was born in Mogalthur, a small village near Narsapur on Aug. 22, 1955. He began his acting career with "Punadhirallu" in 1978, but its release was delayed for a year. "Pranam Khareedu" was his first film to be released in theatres. Later, he went to deliver many blockbuster movie and became a mega star of the Telugu film industry.

Having starred in 149 films, Chiranjeevi plunged into politics and also started his own political outfit called Praja Rajyam Party. Later, he merged his party with Congress and became a Union Minister. After the fall of the party in 2014 elections, the actor is set to make a grand comeback to silver screen with his 150th movie titled "Khaidi No 150."

"Khaidi No 150" has been creating ripples in the media and the mega family fans are desperately waiting for its release. The makers of the film are releasing its first look as a birthday gift to Chiranjeevi. On this occasion hashtags -- ‪#‎HBDMegastarChiranjeevi and ‪#‎KhaidiNo150 – are trending on Twitter, Facabook and other social networking sites.
