Megastar Amitabh Bachchan Honoured with Yash Chopra Memorial Award 2014 [in Pictures]

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was awarded with Yash Chopra Memorial Award on Thursday and several big names from television and the film industry attended the event.

The award, which was given to singer Lata Mangeshkar last year, was given away by Maharashtra Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao. Celebrities like Simi Garewal, Jaya Prada and late filmmaker Yash Chopra's wife Pamela were present at the award ceremony.

"I am sitting here for quite long and all these dignitaries who came here said such nice words about me, my acting etc. and after hearing so many compliments today I realized I couldn't learn one form of acting and that is what should be my expression when you are showered with so many compliments," said Bachchan after thanking everyone.

The "Piku" actor stated that he does not think he deserves such appreciation and is still striving to deliver his best in the film industry.
