Actor-turned-TV host Akkineni Nagarjuna is all set to return to the small screen with season 3 of "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" (MEK 3), the official adaptation of Hindi game show, "Kaun Banega Crorepati". The show is expected to go on air in October.

Nagarjuna debuted on silver screen with MAA TV game show "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu", which went on air on 9, June, 2014. It went on to become the super hit show of the year. On 9, December, 2014, he kick-started the season 2 of the show, which also garnered very good response.

Following the huge success of the two seasons, the makers of the show planned a third season and want to rope in Nagarjuna as the host once again. The actor is expected to start shooting for MEK 3 from October.

Nagarjuna is currently busy shooting for the remake of the French drama, "The Intouchables" and "Soggade Chinni Nayana". Besides confirming the news about MEK 3, he said that he is yet to allot dates for the show. "I'm expected to shoot for 60 episodes. The dates are still being worked out," Nag told IANS.

"The show gave me an opportunity to touch people's hearts. As actors, we just entertain. But it was through this show that I could bring smiles on the faces of so many contestants. I'll always cherish that more than the success I enjoy as a star. To be the cause behind somebody's happiness is a feeling I can't quite express in words," Nagarjuna added.

The actor said that he will wrap up his current projects by the end of September. "Soggade Chinni Nayana will be wrapped up by September 20. The bilingual project with Karthi should be completed by the end of the same month," he said.

Nagarjuna plans to collaborate with filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao for a devotional drama and also has plans to do a slick action flick.
