Pune, Jan 18 (ANI): Taking action for throwing out a street child from its restaurant in Pune, McDonalds suspended the staff member involved in the incident. The action comes after the Maharashtra government intervened in the matter. Promising an enquiry, McDonalds in a statement had said, "McDonalds India is investigating internally an issue that has been reported on an incident involving a street child. The concerned security personnel involved in the incident have been suspended pending completion of an enquiry." Further, the Pune outlet also faced anger by people. Some unidentified persons on Saturday threw mud on the facade of the restaurant. However, nothing serious was reported. Earlier, the street kid Akash's father said that poor should not be treated in such degrading manner.
