Mumbai based Maxx Mobile has launched a budget tablet called Tab722, along with a slew of new smartphones in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Maxx Mobile, Managing Director, Ajjay Agarwal said, "With the rapid adoption of mobile phones, today Indian consumers have become more technologically aware. This has created a market with highly varied needs & preferences. Maxx Mobile understands the 'value for money' attitude of Indian consumers and aims to provide every user a mobile phone with maximum features at the most affordable prices.", reported NDTV.
Maxx Tab722 sports a 7.0-inch WVGA display with 480x800p display resolution and runs on the two-generation old Android v4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
In terms of internal hardware, it packs a 1GHz MediaTek MT6575 chipset with 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It also houses a 3.0-megapixel main camera on the rear side and 1.3-megapixel secondary camera on the front.
Along with the 7.0-inch tablet, the company also released four budget smartphones - Maxx AX5 Plus (₹6,500), AX50 (₹6,262), AX40 (₹3,999) and AX353 (₹3,131) into the market.
