The WWE World Heavyweight Championship title currently belongs to superstar Roman Reigns, and it seems that the WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is not very happy about it.

Mr. Mcmahon had officiated a match earlier this year, where Reigns defeated Sheamus and claimed the World Heavyweight Championship title. On that day, the WWE chairman made a promise that he will not leave Raw as champion.

Thus, McMahon announced the match card for Royal Rumble, where Reigns will have to engage himself in a 30-superstar match on Sunday, 24 January.

Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest names to feature in this high-voltage match. The Beast, as he is popularly known, has not featured in a Royal Rumble encounter since 2003. The last time he was in a Royal Rumble match, he won that battle and clinched the World Heavyweight Championship. This time he will be up against Reigns and a lot of other superstars.

Big Show has also been named among the stars who will be a part of this match. Reigns recently defeated Big Show in the WWE Live Event tour in India on 15 January at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.

There will be surprise wild card entries at the event and rumours suggest that Triple H and Randy Orton may return to the ring, ahead of Wrestlemania 32.

John Cena would have been a part of Royal Rumble 2016, before a shoulder injury ruled him out. As a result, he could not be a part of the India tour as well. Reigns was named as his replacement, with the world champion winning both his fights.

Names of the following superstars have been announced so far for the WWE Royal Rumble 2016 World Heavyweight Championship match

Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Sheamus, Chris Jericho, Stardust, Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Big Show, Curtis Axel.
