"Mastizaade", from the very beginning, has been struggling to dodge trouble and things aren't really looking up this moment.
Riteish Deshmukh, who has a cameo appearance, lashed out at the makers on social media writing that the way he is being used to market the film was an "absolute breach of contract, agreement and trust (sic)."
"I am part of 2 scenes and a song in MastiZaade -nothing more. I am requesting the makers again- Please honour our agreement. #Disappointed," he tweeted and later added, "Disappointed with MastiZaade: Its shocking to see them blatantly use me in their promotions-Absolute breach of my contract-agreement &trust."
According to sources, after the makers got a hint that the star wasn't very pleased about the fact that his footage had been used to promote the film, they made it a point to reach out to him but he was in no mood to calm down.
"Riteish is very upset with the makers after the trailer came out; he was told that he will be the surprise element in the film and he was not aware that he would be a part of the trailer as well," an insider informed The Asian Age.
To be released on 29 January, this Sunny Leone film also features Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor, who play porn stars in it. Directed by Milap Zaveri, this adult-comedy has seen some rough days, during which the makers fought against all odds to get it cleared by the censor board.
