Italian luxury car maker Maserati opened its first dealership in South Indian city of Bengaluru with Jubilant AutoWorks.

Located on MG Road, the new Maserati showroom is the company's second dealership in India after New Delhi. The showroom, which is in line with Maserati global standards, has space to display six cars and will offer sales and servicing for Maserati's full range of two-door and four-door luxury and sports cars in South India.

Currently, the showroom has the Quattroporte, its latest E-segment sedan – the Ghibli, the sports coupe Maserati GranTurismo and cabriolet – the GranCabrio on display. The dealership will also cater to other South Indian cities like Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi.

The showroom has a visitors' lounge, a section for Maserati merchandise and a configurator area where customers can customise their cars. The company will open its next Maserati dealership in Mumbai in next month.

"We believe that the southern market and Bengaluru especially, is embedded in a culture that understands and appreciates luxury, thus holding immense potential for a brand like ours. The southern part of India has witnessed a strong growth in luxury car sales, which makes it clear that having a representation in the area is now a necessity for Maserati," said Bojan Jankulovski, Head of Operations for India.
