Even though Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) was killed by Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) in the mid-season finale of "Agents of SHIELD" Season 3, it seems he will return in the next episode, but not as a human.

After Coulson killed Ward brutally with his robotic hand, his presumably dead body was taken over by an Inhuman.

At the end of the previous episode, the Inhuman escaped to Earth with Ward's body through a portal between the planet where it lived and Earth.

Brett Dalton shared some interesting details regarding the future of Ward and how it is going to be once the season returns in March 2016.

As reported by IGN, Ward's character will return but not as a Hydra member. Insted, it will be Ward 2.0, who is possessed by an unknown Inhuman.

Dalton said the mysterious Inhuman is a creature that has been occupying this other dimension.

"Monuments have been built in this creature's honour," Dalton said when asked about the new Inhuman.

In the previous episode titled "Maveth", Hydra's mission was to summon this creature to Earth through the portal. However, little did they know that they succeeded because the creature came to Earth not just through the portal but through Ward's body.

Dalton explained that this is no longer the Grant Ward viewers know. Under the influence of this new Inhuman, Ward won't be motivated by revenge and settling scores anymore.

Describing the creature, Dalton said, "It is something that has access to all of the thoughts and memories of all of the hosts that he's occupied in the past, he has at least knowledge of all the stuff that's happened in the past."

Dalton also noted that "there is a kind of regalness" as this is a creature who is familiar with "being worshipped and monuments built in his honour".

Season 3 Episode 11 will be aired on 8 March, 2016. The name of the episode is yet to be revealed.
