Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest carmaker, has rolled out the iCreate accessory range for its popular compact SUV the Vitara Brezza, giving the customers the choice of personalising their vehicles.
The new iCreate range of accessories includes over 90 combinations to choose from and Maruti Suzuki is expected to extend the new accessories to other models in future. The iCreate for the Vitara Brezza includes Glamour Glitz package, Glamour Elegance package, Sports Accelerate package, Sports Velocity package, and the Urban Dynamic package and the customers also have the choice of picking them individually.
"While we have been selling accessories, we wanted to co-create value for our customers by enabling them to design and configure their vehicles down to minute details. We have created an exclusive set of 90 accessories only for the Brezza. The idea is to make each vehicle rolling out of our assembly lines unique by democratising personalisation services," said RS Kalsi, executive director (sales & marketing), Maruti Suzuki India.
The packages include ORVM garnish, body graphics, fog lamp garnish, alloy wheels, side and skid plates, seat cover, infotainment options, door sill guards, floor mats, leather steering wheel and more. The customisation will be done at the showrooms of the company.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, one of the most selling UVs in the country, is the company's first model to be fully developed in India by its R&D team led by CV Raman and has received over 1 lakh bookings since its entry into the market in March.
The Vitara Brezza is currently available only with diesel engine and is expected to get petrol-engine under the hood soon. The SUV is now powered by a 200 DDis 1248cc diesel engine that develops 88.5bhp at 4,000rpm and 200Nm of torque at 1,750rpm mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. It boasts of best-in-class fuel efficiency of 24.3 kmpl.
