A fresh batch of spy shots of Marut Suzuki's upcoming crossover SX4 S-Cross aka Across has emerged online ahead of its scheduled appearance at the upcoming International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), this time showing the model in different body paints.

Snapped by folks at Gaadi Waadi, the S-Cross, which goes by the name SX4 S-Cross in the international market, is expected to make its India debut by mid-2015, probably next month.
The S-Cross is likely to be available in six colours in India – cosmic Black Pearl Metallic, Arctic White Pearl, Galactic Grey Metallic, Boost Blue Pearl Metallic, Bison Brown Pearl Metallic and Silky Silver Metallic.
Maruti's S-Cross, which is supposedly called Across, is likely to include 1.3-litre diesel and 1.6-litre diesel engines in the powertrain department. The 1.6-litre diesel engine will have the capacity to churn out a power of 118bhp with a peak torque of 32kgm and the transmission is likely to come from a six-speed manual gearbox. Rumours suggest fuel efficiency of 23 kmpl for the 1.3 diesel mill and 20kmpl for the 1.6 engine.
The S-Cross is expected to get features such as projector headlamps and Daytime Running LEDs, 16-inch alloy wheels, scuff plates, black-cladding, multi-function steering wheel, SmartPlay infotainment and keyless entry.
When launched, the Maruti S-Cross aka Across will challenge the dominance of Renault Duster, Ford EcoSport and Nissan Terrano in India.
The S-Cross is likely to be priced at around ₹8 lakh. The model will be shown at the IIFA event on 7 June in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
