Auto enthusiasts in India have seen the spy shots and leaked reports of upcoming facelifted Swift Dzire many times, and all that is left to see is its completely uncovered images.
And now, days ahead of its expected launch in the country, they can have a glimpse of a fresh batch image of Swift Dzire facelift in its undisguised avatar, thanks to folks at GaadiWaadi for the latest spy shots and the images that uncover almost all details about its exteriors.
Judging from the images, it looks like Maruti engineers have worked thoroughly to give a fresh look to the new avatar of Swift Dzire. The Swift Dzire facelift is seen in the picture with a new front bumper with thick chrome grille and new reworked headlamp cluster and there is also chrome fog lamp inserts.
As for the side profile of the car, there are indications of multi-spoke alloy wheels and at the back, expect the facelift model of Dzire sedan to flaunt a restyled bumper. The images also show the Dzire facelift in new body paints, indicating that Maruti could also bring new shades to the Swift Dzire model.
Inside the cabin too, the model is expected to get a makeover and the feature list is likely to include electrically adjustable wing mirrors, new upholstery, push start/stop button and six-speaker sound system with Bluetooth and iPod compatibility music system.
For the oily bits, Maruti Swift Dzire facelift is expcted to draw power from the same engines of the existing model -1.2-litre K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre multijet diesel mills, may be with better fuel efficiency.
Recent reports have suggested that Dzire facelift will be Maruti's first offering for the Indian market in 2015 and is likely to reach showrooms possibly this month, with 23 February touted as the probable launch date. The model, which will rival Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent and Tata Zest in India is expected to get a price tag in the range of ₹5 to ₹8 lakh.
