Maruti Suzuki is busy readying its upcoming SX4 based crossover S-Cross in the country, which has been snapped numerous times already.

Once again, Maruti S-Cross has been caught on camera by GaadiWaadi, and this time a fleet of the new hot crossover parked at the stockyard of the company's Maruti's Gurgaon plant can be seen.

S-Cross, Maruti's answer to Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport, is expected to make its India debut in the first week of July. According to the latest report, the production of Maruti S-Cross is in full swing at the company's plant and around 600 units of the crossover have already been manufactured. With the speedy production, Maruti aims to meet the initial orders for the model. The booking for S-Cross might be opened in India soon.

Maruti SX4 S-cross, the model which will go by the name S-Cross, will be sold in the country without Suzuki or Maruti badge on it. The crossover made its maiden appearance at the IIFA 2015 Awrads in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Under the hood, Maruti's S-Cross aka Across is likely to get 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines. The 1.6-litre diesel engine will have the capacity to churn out a power of 118bhp with a peak torque of 32kgm and the transmission is likely to come from a six-speed manual gearbox. If rumours turn out to be true, Maruti S Cross will be priced around ₹8 lakh.
