Auto lovers in the country already know that Marurti Suzuki is planning to bring new Celerio variants into the domestic market, including a taxi variant. Now GaadiWaadi have posted a fresh batch of spy shots of Celerio Zxi AMT model, giving us early glimpse before its arrival in the market.

The production of Celerio Zxi AMT is underway at the company's Manesar plant and it was reported earlier that the model is likely to make its market entry on 20 April. In the latest spy shots, Celerio Zxi AMT was seen undisguised.

In terms of style and design, there is nothing much to talk about the new Celerio Zxi AMT since the model is already in the market. The model will continue to have the same body kit of the original Celerio and mechanically too, the same 998cc K-Next series petrol engine will power the new variant mated to AMT.

The Celerio Zxi AMT is speculated to have features like body coloured door handles and mirrors, electrically adjustable ORVMs, music system with CD, USB, AUX-in and Bluetooth connectivity, remote locking, steering mounted controls and tilt steering.

Speaking of the pricing of new AMT Celerio variant, Maruti is likely to price it at a premium ₹40,000.

Maruti will also be launching diesel variant of Celerio in the country in coming months. Celerio diesel which is expected to deliver a mileage of 30.1 kmpl, will be powered by the all-new indigenously developed 2 pot 800cc diesel motor. The engine is expected churn out 35-40bhp and peak toque of 120-130Nm and the latest is that the diesel Celerio will not get an AMT at the time of launch.
